Hi, I’m Darlene Falcone, RHIA, CCA

Darlene Falcone is a nationally recognized leader in Health Information Management (HIM) and healthcare compliance. With over two decades of experience in patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings, she brings a deep understanding of clinical operations and regulatory frameworks.
As a credentialed Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Certified Coding Associate (CCA), Darlene specializes in HIM consulting, HIPAA compliance, and AI governance for healthcare organizations. She is currently serves as the AHIMA Advocacy Chair for the Florida Health Information Management Advocacy Committee, where she champions policy initiatives that shape the future of healthcare data and technology.
Through Rocket IT Consulting, Darlene helps organizations navigate complex federal and state regulations, including CMS interoperability mandates, Joint Commission AI standards, and emerging AI legislation. She is passionate about empowering providers to educate patients—especially Medicare beneficiaries—on their rights, benefits, and digital access to care.
